Who Restocks the Break Room? A Scottsdale Office Cleaning Scope
Separate cleaning, consumable supplies and staff duties in your office break-room plan.
By Salt & Slate Cleaning Team
A clean break room can still frustrate staff if the soap dispenser is empty and no one knows who orders replacements. Cleaning and stocking work together, but they need separate owners.
When discussing office cleaning in Scottsdale, list the surfaces to clean and the supplies to manage as two parts of the scope.
Start with the room’s daily use
Count sinks, counters, tables, waste stations and appliance exteriors. Note whether staff eat throughout the day or gather at predictable times. Tell the provider when the room will be available.
Decide what employees do with dishes, personal food and items left on counters. Those belongings affect access and should have a routine that staff understand.
Give supplies an owner
Make a list of soap, paper towels, liners and any other consumables. For each item, identify who purchases it, where it is stored and who notices that stock is low.
If you want replenishment included in cleaning visits, discuss the exact task. Checking a cupboard, ordering stock and filling a dispenser are three different responsibilities.
Set appliance boundaries
Ask separately about refrigerator, microwave and other appliance interiors. State whether food will be removed first and who decides what gets discarded. Give staff advance notice of any clearing deadline.
Put the final arrangement on one short checklist. A useful quote request includes the room count, occupancy, visit frequency, available cleaning window and supply responsibilities. That lets you compare proposals on the same work and makes the first visit easier to assess.
