* Salt and Slate Cleaning Company will spot-clean walls only when requested or permitted, as wall paint — especially flat paint, older paint, or builder-grade paint — is highly susceptible to burnishing, streaking, dull patches, or full removal when scrubbed. Certain substances like permanent marker, crayons, dye transfer, oils, adhesive residue, and scuffs may not come off without removing or damaging paint. Salt and Slate Cleaning Company cannot guarantee the removal of marks from walls and is not liable for damage to paint or finishes during wall spot-cleaning.

** Homeowner is responsible for running dishwasher as Salt and Slate Cleaning Company is not able to determine which setting customer wants unless told specifically.

The difference is service tier. Every visit follows the same detailed room-by-room checklist, uses commercial-grade products, and is backed by our 24-hour satisfaction guarantee. Pricing is by home size, not by the hour, so the scope is fixed before any work begins.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No contracts. You can adjust your frequency, pause for travel, or cancel with a simple message — there are no cancellation fees. Reschedule requests with at least 48 hours notice are free. Same-day cancellations are subject to a rescheduling fee, which we confirm at booking.

Do I need a deep clean first before starting recurring service?

Yes. Before we put you on a recurring schedule, your home needs to be at maintenance condition. That means a deep clean first — either booked through us or recent enough that we can confirm the baseline when we arrive. Recurring cleaning is designed to maintain a clean home, not catch it up from a long stretch. If a deep clean isn't in your budget right now, we offer hourly blocks at $50 per cleaner with a $150 minimum, though those visits don't carry a checklist guarantee or our satisfaction guarantee.

What does a recurring clean actually include vs. a deep clean?

Recurring cleaning covers the core surfaces every visit: countertops, appliances, sinks, toilets, showers, floors, mirrors, fans, blinds, and trash. It does not include baseboards, cabinet exteriors, door frames, or grout scrubbing — those are deep clean items. Most clients get a deep clean done quarterly alongside their recurring schedule to address the buildup in those areas.
