How to Compare Office Cleaning Quotes in Scottsdale

Compare Scottsdale office cleaning proposals by rooms, tasks, frequency, supplies and access so you can evaluate the actual scope.

Two office cleaning quotes can list the same square footage and cover very different work. Before comparing the monthly total for a Scottsdale office, put the rooms, tasks and visit frequency side by side.

You want a proposal you can use to answer a practical question: what will be cleaned on the next visit, and what happens less often?

Give every provider the same starting brief

List the usable office area, number of restrooms, break rooms, meeting rooms and approximate daily occupancy. Note floor materials and any areas with unusually heavy use. Include preferred hours and building access requirements.

If your office has both private suites and shared facilities, mark which spaces belong in your contract. A provider pricing private restrooms and one pricing only the tenant suite are quoting different jobs.

Turn broad promises into tasks

Ask what phrases such as “complete office clean” mean for each room. A scope can identify the surface, the task and its frequency without becoming a long manual.

AreaDetail to confirm
ReceptionFloors, entry glass, counters and furniture surfaces
DesksAccessible surfaces; instructions for papers and equipment
Break roomCounters, sink, tables, appliance exteriors and floors
RestroomsFixtures, mirrors, floors, waste and supply checks
Meeting roomsTables, chairs, accessible surfaces and floors

Then identify periodic work. Interior appliances, interior windows and floor maintenance can belong on a different schedule or a separate quote. Make that visible in the comparison.

Separate frequency from the monthly price

Count the planned visits. A lower monthly total may reflect fewer visits or a smaller scope. Ask how holidays, office closures and an added visit would be handled.

For a straightforward comparison, divide each monthly quote by its included visits and review the per-visit figure alongside the checklist. That calculation helps you spot differences; the task list still determines what you are buying.

Clarify supplies and access

Record who provides restroom consumables, waste liners and any site-specific products. If replenishment is included, identify who notices low stock and who orders replacements.

Also check how the team enters, where equipment may be stored and who secures the office afterward. Where the building requests insurance documents, send the actual requirements before the provider finalizes its proposal. Our COI guide explains the document to request.

Agree on a simple quality check

Pick a few observable items from the agreed scope: restroom fixtures, break-room counters, accessible desk surfaces and floor edges, for example. Identify who receives a missed-task report and how follow-up is arranged.

A practical review uses the same checklist as the proposal. It should let you describe a specific issue without rewriting expectations after the first visit.

Salt & Slate provides office cleaning in Scottsdale. Send your current scope or a room list, desired frequency and access window. We can use those details to discuss a proposal you can compare with the others in front of you.
