Recurring service requires the home to have been professionally cleaned within the last 60 days so we can maintain a consistent baseline. For homes outside that window, we start with a one-time deep clean to reset the baseline, then move into your recurring schedule from there.

Before you book a post-construction clean

Salt & Slate performs the final clean — the detailed pass that makes the space move-in ready once construction is fully complete. Confirm each item below so we can quote and schedule your final clean.

This is a final clean for occupancy — all construction work is complete and no workers will be in the home during or after the clean. The contractor has removed construction debris — scrap wood, drywall, nails, and packaging are out of the home. Ram board, floor protection, and construction tape have been removed. The windows are free of paint overspray.

Fine construction dust stays suspended in the air and inside ductwork and wall cavities for days or even weeks after the trades finish, so some of it resettles after any clean, no matter how thorough. That is normal and is not a sign of incomplete work. We clean the dust and residue present on accessible surfaces at the time of service, using HEPA-filtered shop vacuums and our standard professional cleaning products.

I understand that Salt and Slate Cleaning Company is not liable for dust that resettles after the final walkthrough, or for dust and debris introduced by trades, installers, or movers entering the home during or after the clean, and that resettled dust is not covered by the satisfaction guarantee.
